Frequently Asked.

Direct answers to the questions we are most often asked.

Who are Altheone's mentors?+

Every mentor is a University of Oxford graduate, matched to the student by course. Selection is competitive and continuous; mentors are reviewed each cycle.

When should a student begin?+

Twelve to eighteen months before application is optimal. Later starts are considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to diagnostic performance.

How many students do you accept?+

A limited cohort each admissions cycle. Places are allocated by course to ensure availability of a specialist mentor.

What is the format of a session?+

Ninety minutes, one-to-one, live and camera-on, recorded for the student. Sessions are held weekly at a standing time.

How are parents kept informed?+

A written fortnightly report is issued: metrics, mentor commentary, and objectives for the coming weeks. A senior advisor is available for direct correspondence.

Do you guarantee an offer?+

No mentorship can guarantee an outcome. We commit to the standard of preparation; the University determines the outcome.

What are the fees?+

Fees are quoted after diagnostic, reflecting course, hours and duration. All fees are disclosed in writing before commencement.

Which exams do you cover?+

TMUA, ESAT, UCAT, TARA, HAT and MLAT, alongside subject interview preparation.
