Common questions from parents

How does Oxam work?+

Students take a diagnostic, receive a personalised plan, and work weekly with a subject specialist. The platform handles practice between lessons and reports progress automatically.

How is progress measured?+

Three signals: accuracy on practice questions, timing under exam conditions, and mock examination scores. All visible in the Family Hub.

How often will I hear from Oxam?+

A written summary after every session. A formal monthly progress report. A direct line to your advisor whenever you need one. no formulaic email replies.

What if my child is struggling?+

The platform flags warning signals. missed homework, repeated mistakes, dips in confidence. before they become problems. Your advisor will contact you proactively.

Can I monitor without intruding?+

Yes. The Family Hub gives full visibility without sitting in lessons. Most parents check weekly. Some check daily. Both are fine.
